SCORING
of RACES within a POINTSCORE ROUND:
Normally a minimum of
three scratch races for each Group S categories (Sa, Sb and Sc) will
be scheduled although scoring can accommodate variations in the
number of Group S races as follows:

only one scratch
race conducted – no points shall be scored from the round. |
|
|
two scratch races
conducted - a competitor’s results from both races to
count. |
|
|
three scratch races
conducted - a competitor’s best two races to count. |
|
|
four or more
scratch races conducted - the fourth race and later races
will not be scored - a competitor’s results from the best
two races from the first three races to count. |
|
|
For some events
such as the HSRCA Group S ‘Enduro’ the GSRA committee may
promulgate special pointscore rules. |
SCORING of
POINTS at a RACE:
Points will be awarded for
each position in class as follows, based on the number of
competitors in each class that start in each race.
